RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Definition of Terms
a. Tournament – refers to the activity in which airsoft teams will compete on the field to obtain the highest possible score sanctioned by the rules
b. Airsoft units – refers to gun replicas of all models which upon operation of compressed air emits projectiles known as BB
c. BB – refers to plastic spherical object 6 mm in diameter which are used as ammunitions to airsoft units
d. Hit – Actual touching of the BB’s directly emitted from an airsoft unit on any portion of the player’s body, apparels or accessories worn. The airsoft unit shall not be considered an apparel or accessory or extension of the player’s body.
e. Blind firing – shooting without direct visual of the target;
f. Marsall / Umpire – refers persons in the field designated and authorized to tag hits on the players and to enforce pertinent rules of the game upon all players
g. Scorers – refers to personnel authorized to compute the scores obtained by each team after a game
h. Arbitrator Board (board for brevity)– Refers to a the three man team designated to entertain complaints and decide in accordance with the rules.
i. Field – refers the particular portion of the venue designated as the area where the games are to be conducted.
j. Team’s Sector – refers to the half portion of the field where a team’s base belong
k. Grid line – refers to series of lines drawn on a team’s sector perpendicular to the length of the field. Each space between grid lines shall have corresponding points which shall be credited to the team whose player occupies the same at the end of the regulation time.
l. Games – refers to the activity sanctioned by the rules hereunder stated in which players may obtain the game’s objectives
m. Players - refers to persons duly registered with the organizers to participate in the tournament
n. Point Blank Shooting – Shooting at another who is within reaching distance from the shooter.
o. Base – specific area on the field where the two opposing teams are to commence their mission and defend their objective respectively.

2. Field Rules
a. Players
i. Registration. Only duly registered players are allowed to participate in the games. No players shall be allowed in field without first showing proof of his registration. Penalty equivalent to 50 deductions shall be sanctioned on a team that allows a non-registered player to participate with their team.
ii. Non transferability of players. Players can play only with the team where they first register as such. Penalty equivalent to 50 deduction shall be sanctioned on a team that allows a player from another team to play with theirs.
b. Mechanics of the game
i. Games are pre-scheduled.
1. Staging area. Teams are required to prepare at their pre-selected base a game immediately before the start of their pre-scheduled game. Failure by the said team to comply with this requirement forfeits their game.
ii. Game is commenced sound of a firecracker.
iii. Competing teams are to secure the objective from the opponent’s base by shooting their way through.
iv. After securing the objective, the team is to bring it back to their base to complete their mission;
c. Scoring
i. Number of kills. 10 points for each opponent declared hit by a marshal including those voluntarily acknowledged or admitted by a player;
ii. Farthest possible grid line occupied. 20 points for every opponent’s grid line occupied by a surviving player at the end of the regulation time. The highest possible score under this rule shall be awarded to the team that successfully secures their objective;
iii. Securing the objective. Additional 50 points for physically securing the objective free from any hostile forces.
iv. Mission accomplished. Additional 50 points for successfully bringing the bomb back to their base, in which case the team shall be declared to have completed their mission and the time shall stop from running.
v. Deductions. Only those acts subject to the prohibitions under Section (e) shall be subject of deductions.
vi. Bonus. 5 points per person shall be credited to the team whose player voluntarily acknowledge or admits their hits.
vii. Winner. Team that obtains the highest total score wins the tournament.

d. Chronograph limit
i. 400/450 fps chrono limit. No airsoft units chronographed exceeding the fps limit as the case may be shall be allowed inside the field. A player who knowingly violates this rule shall by a unanimous vote by the board be expelled from the game;
ii.
e. Prohibitions, sanctions and deductions. A violation on any of the prohibitions hereunder explained shall be penalized from a minimum of 50 point team deduction to an expulsion from the tournament.
i. Point blank shooting. As defined under Section 1(n) the penalty shall be imposed only on the player.
1. Hand Tap Rule. A tap on the edge of an obstacle shall be considered a constructive hit on the player(s) immediately on the other side of it. A tap on a player shall likewise be considered constructive hit on the player;
ii. Prohibited assault, Is committed by a player or group of players who outside the normal course of obtaining the game’s objective, unnecessarily assaults / attacks, verbally or otherwise, any other player, spectator or official in the field Use of a non-airsoft unit or the use of profane, obscene and insulting words in committing this violation is prima facie evidence against the offender;
iii. Challenge to a duel or fistfight. The use of the profanities, and insulting words on occasion of the violation is automatically penalized by a suspension from the game.
iv. Continual firing. The hit call from a marshal shall be the sign for the shooter to desist from shooting. Failure to heed the call will be violation of this rule. This rule shall likewise apply to a player who shoots at another who had raised his unit;
v. Intentional firing on spectators. Non-active players shall be considered a spectator for the purpose of this rule.
vi. Coaching. Refers to pin pointing or giving hint by a non-player or by a non-active player on the specific location of a player(s) or their strength in the field.
1. Cheering and applauding including revealing active players of the remaining time shall not be considered a violation of this rule.
2. Any team whose non-playing member shall violate the rule on coaching shall suffer a 50 point deduction from its accumulated score; this is without prejudice to the expulsion on the player(s) the board may sanction.
3. When committed by a non-player, said person shall be expelled from the venue;
4. The team that benefits from that this violation shall earn no credits or points;
vii. Game Fixing. Any team who knowingly and intentionally losses a game to give undue scoring advantage to another team shall be penalized accordingly. No credit shall be given to the team that benefit from this violation. “Mass suicide assault” shall be prima facie evidence of game fixing.
viii. Prohibited drink and substance. No person under the influence of any prohibited substance as defined by law or under the influence of any alcoholic drink shall be allowed within the venue of the tournament.
ix. Shielding. Intentional obstruction by a hit player of the view of a shooter.
x. Disrupting the game. Is imposed on any person who disrupts the continuity of the game.
f. Procedure
i. No complaint shall be entertained unless the same is brought before arbitrator’s board.
ii. Marshals and witnesses to the violation shall be heard before the board
iii. The board shall call upon the offender or the person responsible to hear his version of the incident.
iv. The board shall summarily decide the complaint upon a vote of a majority of its members and impose the penalty accordingly.
v. The board may choose between a team point deduction or a game suspension on the player concerned in imposing the penalties. Expulsion shall be imposed only upon a unanimous vote of the board.
vi. Appeal is not available. Upon motion the board may however grant pardon upon the offender but in no case shall the points deducted as a consequence of his act be covered by this pardon.
g. Penalties allowed
i. Team point deduction – fifty point deduction on the accumulated points of the team
ii. Suspension from a game(s) – this is without prejudice to the team point deduction the team may suffer as a consequence of the violation. May be imposed on the team or on the player.
iii. Expulsion – shall be imposed only upon a unanimous vote of the board. May be imposed on the team or on the player.
iv.
h. The Arbitrator’s Board
i. Shall be made of three of the most senior officers or in their absence most senior member of NSW present.
