THEME GAME (OPEN): AFGHAN MUJAHEDIN VERSUS SPECIAL FORCES
Wear your best afghan or special forces gear for a day of airsoft fun and photo ops. Certificate of attendance will be given as well as cash price for the best afghan and sf look.
Time and date: 1:00pm July 22,2007
Place: Willy’s at Barangay Busay, Cebu City
1st Mandatory Requirement:
It's either you're a mujahedin or an SF. Failure of compliance means No Play.
Fee: Prepare at least P50 which will include free snacks courtesy of Willy.
Scenario and mechanics are to follow while recon of the place is still being made.
Players from other teams are invited so long as they comply with the 1st mandatory requirement.

Gands! Any chance a VEPR equipped Mujahedin fighter with shemagh can join in? hehehe. I don't have too much on either look. I'm good as a PMC or a Opium Farmer with some gear. lol

We were hoping to stick with Navy Seals or a special forces unit, but I'll guess we'll think of a way of implementing PMC's and "civilian" operators or not.

Will, bring the draft, we'll compare notes. I have something in mind also. we have to post it earlier so other players can make suggestions and proper modifications can be made. lowender, magdala pud kaha ta ug opium relica no.  ;D cbeezz, PMC or CIA/SAD will fit just fine. everyone, I went to wily's place just this afternoon, the place is just perfect but there's a problem with the permit, wily say's owner wont allow a game, though i asked a local and says there are regular players in the place. At any rate i think we have to find another place as soon as possible. If there's an alternate site (some place hilly and barren) please please suggest. |

I havent seen in my image bank PMC workin side by side with "the guys" in Ghan. So it wud be better CIA/SAD na lang, no PMC look. CIA/SAD (Dave) uses Salwar kameez. Johnny Micheal Spann (RIP) uses ECWCS and denim pants. --KB |

Okay since William is here, he will help screen SF Operators and CIA/SAD operatives.
Weapon specifications for SF Operators:,
1) Standard m4 and m4 RIS and m14 are highly recommended.Stick to m4a1 or m16a2 models, US weapons only. AK-47 models allowed for SF Operators but recommended to be Secondary weapons. (no AK-SLR models)
2) AN/PEQ-2, AIMPOINT, ACOG, EOtech ONLY. Replicas must be existing models of actual accessories, no TASCO or weird accessories. Remove non-issue like accessories like flashlights and mounted lasers except Surefire weaponlights with the appropriate mounts. Suppressors must be SOCOM and m4QD, no Modified Home-made Suppressors
3)No external battery pouches or wires will be visible
4)No Cantilever mounts on aimpoints, only Straight I and L-Type mounts allowed. Better to have minimal accessories that are real-looking than have ballpen lasers and stainless steel colored flashlights.
5)Painted guns are recommended but must be of Afghanistan terrain pattern like Desert Tan, Coyote Brown and light sand. NO WEIRD COLORS PLEASE.
Please comply as much as possible in order to give justice to our theme. The smallest detail can adversely affect the photo-ops.

AK-47's used by the "insurgents" should be "plain Jane", NO RED DOTS OR OPTICS (unless you have a PSO-1 scope ), NO RAILS. I highly doubt that poor mountain people of Afghanistan can afford conversion kits involving high tech stuff. Call me a tight ass, but that's the way it is. It's either our way or the highway. Like Francis says, details are the name of the game. |
