OPERATION Kan-Bayog: Tribute to History, Mayor Mel Senen Sarmiento ODC Airsoft Invitational Challenge is organized by Calbayog Unified Special Operation Group (CUSOG) and the City Government of Calbayog.

FRAMEWORK

The objective of the rules and regulations of this competition is to set the framework for a competitive event conducted under a safe, fair, and sport-manlike manner.

It should also be noted that it is impossible to make rules for all eventuality and that there will be specific verbal rules attached to certain stages of the competition. It is therefore the responsibility of the team as a whole and the team leader in particular, to take note of these specific regulations and abide by them.

* The organization reserves the right to accept or deny entry of any competitor and or team.
* Pre-registration is until September 30, 2008 and is set at two hundred fifty pesos (Php 250.00) per player .
* Payment of registration fees must be deposited to the account of Mr. Judillo Maga at Metrobank with the account # 329-4193848. Then fax the deposit slip to the ff. telefax numbers : GLOBELINES [phone] PLDT [phone] or email us at [e-mail]
* Registration fee is non-refundable and is inclusive of:
lunch
souvenir shirts (only for pre-registrants)
team certificates
* Registration is on a first-come-first-serve basis and will constitute full acceptance
of the organization rules.
* In case of force majuere, the event may be modified, postponed or canceled.
* Only registered players with signed WAIVER will be allowed to play
* All teams will submit their final list of members one hour before the start of the
competition.
* Multiple registration or “proxy” playing is not allowed.
* Violation to any of these rules will be grounds for disqualification.


Banned Substances
* Alcoholic beverages during the competition
* The organization reserves the right to withhold any equipment that could be
detrimental to the safety of the competitor and or other players or provide undue advantage to the team

Basic Equipment

* Airsoft Gun—Automatic Electric Guns only. Gas operated weapons, with the exception
of pistols are prohibited. Maximum FPS is 450 at maximum BB weight is 0.20g

* Face protection
* Arm band (to be provided by the facilitator)
Competing teams will be provided with colored arm band which will serve as
markers. Removing of arm band marker during a skirmish will penalize the team
and will be ground for disqualification.
Only two (2) box mag is allowed for each team per game
Uniform
* Teams are encouraged to wear their team uniforms during the competition

GENERAL RULES AND REGULATION

* All teams must provide their own mandatory and optional equipment, borrowing of
mandatory equipment from other teams is prohibited.
- Players can only fire their weapons on the playing area when a game is on-going
or at the pre-selected test fire area.
- Using of sub standard bbs is prohibited
- No blind firing
- No holding of gun
- No removing of arm band during play
- Players cannot question the decision of the marshals and or jury.

JURY
- The competition will be governed by three juries
- The jury's decision is final
- Protests must be made in writing and should be submitted after every skirmish
A protest fee of Php 500.00 is required for a protest to be considered, refundable
only when a protest is found valid.

SUFFIX
- Players can only fire their weapons on the playing area when a game is on-going and/or at the pre selected test fire area. Shooting outside test fire zone or outside the playing area is prohibited.
- No shouting HIT calls to your opponent
- No blind firing
- No littering or vandalizing on the playing area
- No playing out of bounds
- Do not use civilians and or dead players as cover
- Must acknowledge getting hit
- Indiscriminate use of your weapon outside the playing area is strictly prohibited
- Physical or verbal assault towards any player or guest is prohibited
- Conduct unbecoming
- Playing under the influence of illegal drugs and or alcohol is banned
- Use of banned substances is prohibited
- Do not steal
- Do not use sub standard bbs.
- Do not enter the game area unnecessarily
- No carrying of a real gun on your person during a game

Violation to any of the stipulated rules will result in penalties and or disqualification


DEVIATION FROM ANY OF THE STIPULATED RULES ABOVE WILL BE GROUNDS FOR DISQUALIFICATION. HOWEVER, THE ORGANIZERS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MODIFY THE RULES AND REGULATIONS AT ANY TIME SHOULD THE ORGANIZATION SEE NECESSARY. ALL TEAMS WILL BE NOTIFIED OF ANY CHANGES SOON AS PRACTICALLY POSSIBLE.



GAME SCENARIOS:

OFFENSE AND DEFENSE CHALLENGE
There is a boundary line between the killhouse and the obstacle or center line of the course.

ASSAULT TEAM:

Offensive player - 12 man team

Either capture the flag, defuse the bomb, rescue the hostage and the objective is attained.

DEFENSIVE TEAM:

Defensive player - 10 man team

Prevent the offensive team to attain the objective.
