OAC Airsoft Sniper Challenge 3
For individual and two-man sniper team
The Challenge are for individual snipers as well as a two man sniper team. However, a 2-man Sniper team scores will be accumulated and considered as one entry. Every individual on the sniper team must conduct a minimum of 2 exercises on the prepared 5 individual exercises.
Components of the Sniper Challenge
Inspired from scout sniper school training manuals, the Airsoft Sniper Challenge covers the basic skill components of being an actual scout sniper operative tailored specifically for the airsoft sniper enthusiast.
The Challenge is divided into different categories (tactical exercises) for individual snipers to test their proficiency in each skill. The first five exercises will prepare the snipers on what to conduct when they eventually move on to the 6th exercise, the “Mission”.
CATEGORIES (tactical exercises)
TARGET RANGE JUDGING EXERCISE
1. Range Estimation (3 targets to estimate each of its range in feet or meters)
KIM GAME
2. Keep-in- Memory Exercise (10 – items to recall in just 30 seconds of seeing it).
TARGET DETECTION and OBSERVATION EXERCISE
3. Field Observation exercise (name and describe all the items seen on the field correctly and in what position)
MARKSMANSHIP EXERCISE
4. Target Shooting (5 shots each on 4 stationary targets of different range)
CAMOUFLAGE n CONCEALMENT
5. Sniper vs Counter-Sniper game. (sniper has two attempts to shoot targets as well as hiding from observers while Counter-Sniper has two attempts to locate the sniper)
LAND NAVIGATION & FEILDCRAFT (“the Mission”)
6. S.O.S.E. (STALK, OBSERVE, SHOOT, and ESCAPE EXERCISE) (60mins sniper time)
All category scores will be accumulated for each sniper/sniper team.

Actual/final game rules/parameters may vary and will be brief on the event proper.
