The Admiral Graf Spee was one of the most famous German naval warships of World War II, along with the Bismarck. Her size was limited to that of a cruiser by the Treaty of Versailles, but she was much more heavily armed than a cruiser due to innovative weight-saving techniques employed in her construction. Introduction from Wikipedia This is a trumpeter model, with PE in the box included. Noel asked me to post this boat. He is going to build one as well now.

Nicely done Philip. I have not started my Graf Spee yet. I have to finish my DKM Tirpitz & other 1/35 armours before moving on to a new build. Cheers.

The admiral Graf Spee is really a beautiful boat, it was a pleasure building the ship. I'm sure you will enjoy it also. I just did simplified sprucing, as I don't like to much clutter of wires on my boats. I think i'll correct the chains on the boat, as they should be black or grey, not in cupper color. That is for later.

i'm guessing the rails are the photo-etched parts. they make a world of difference.

Yep, photo-etch - it was part of the box. It makes such big differences, but where can I get it easily here in the Philippines? I'm looking for addresses where I can source 1/350 PE railing. Currently it takes 1-2 months to get it out of the US or Japan. I'm looking for faster solutions.
