Joint Special Operations Task Force – Philippines (JSOTF-P) The JSOTF-P consisted of between 500 and 600 personnel. A handful of JSOTF-P personnel also worked in Manila to coordinate activities. Marines OZAMIZ, Philippines (April 18, 2009) Members of the Joint Special Operations Task Force-Philippines Explosive Ordnance Disposal Task Unit help members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal Battalion stack 81mm mortar rounds during a scheduled ordnance disposal. The U.S. Explosive Ordnance Disposal Task Unit continually assists Philippine security forces by offering their counterparts technical assistance and information sharing.
