NSW8 not banned from FAS

Hi,

I just found out a week ago that some of the members of NSW8 think that I, Robert M. Yance (Obet) forbidden the NSW8 to join any FAS event. Or maybe, I have any involvement with other teams telling them to ban NSW8 to any FAS event.

Most teams I know have differences with other teams. But that's between them, not FAS. What happened in 2009 between NSW8 and the other team was not a pleasant incident to you and all of us.

As for the Visayas Finals (I personally asked Nookie about this before stating my side,) I told both teams that NSW8 is qualified for the Visayas Finals 2009 and also, the other team is also invited to participate because one of the top teams didn't confirmed and so there's a slot available (as the rules states).

Anyway, both your teams have the same opinion that if the other team will join, either your team or theirs will have to stand down. This is very much understood as not to put fuel to the fire. That being said, I left the decision to each team to decide.

NSW8 said, (thru nookie, since he was the liaison from your team to me at that time) NSW8 will not join thus the other team played. This was again confirmed thru Nookie last week just to refresh my mind.

My plan at time was if both teams will play, as stated in the rules, that the two team will not meet path - plain and simple.

If other team host will not accept you because of this or that, or if you think that it is useless to join an elimination event in one area, there's also another elimination in another area for you to join. For sure I cannot dictate everybody on who or not to join.

To make the long story short, NO TEAM IS BANNED from this event, NOBODY.

Thanks Obet. However there are members who have felt utter betrayal by FAS. I will not elaborate further. There are a few also who are loyal and committed not only to FAS but for the advancement of the Filipino Airsoft Community many of them also from NSW8. We have gone far and beyond the norm to show that Filipino Airsoft is not a joke. We never expected to be treated as Kings but we also never expected to be treated like dirt.
